Irrfan Khan's spokesperson clears air about 'Hindi Medium 2'
Irrfan Khan's spokesperson has rubbished the reports of the actor shooting for 'Hindi Medium 2'. It was reported that Irrfan, who is in London for cancer treatment, will be returning to Mumbai this week to begin shooting for the movie, which is a sequel of the 2017 release 'Hindi Medium'. While the reports got us all excited, his spokesperson said they are mere speculations.
But, Irrfan might return to India post Diwali
Irrfan's spokesperson further stated that the actor might come to India post Diwali. However, no announcement has been made about his upcoming projects. "The story floating about Irrfan starting 'Hindi Medium 2' shoot in December are all based on speculations. However, there is a possibility of him returning to India after Diwali," the spokesperson said. Looks like we'll have to wait for Irrfan's comeback.
Irrfan battles rare disease called neuroendocrine tumour
It's been over six months since Irrfan revealed that he has been diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumor. Speaking about the battle, Irrfan said he has started appreciating life's spontaneity. "I have this disease and I could die in a few months or a year or two. Or I could just live my life the way it offers me," the actor had said.
Irrfan underwent several chemotherapy sessions
Irrfan had earlier revealed that the treatment has shown positive results. He said his scan turned positive just after the third chemo cycle. "But we need to see after the sixth scan. And then we'll see where it takes me. There's no guarantee of life with anybody," Irrfan had said. We know all his fans want him to recover soon. So do we.
