Someone stole Iron Man's original suit. Where are the Avengers?
What's the story
In a shocking incident, the Iron Man suit, which Robert Downey Jr. wore in the first Iron Man movie (2008), was stolen from a Los Angeles movie prop storage facility.
The suit cost $325,000 (Rs. 2.18 crore) and investigating police officers believe it must have been robbed somewhere between February and April.
Downey's red and gold suit wearing superhero kick-started the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
How?
Facility's workers learned of crime on Tuesday
Los Angeles Police Department's spokesperson Christopher No said the employees at the facility were just checking for the suit on Tuesday and didn't find it.
It was last seen in February. All other items at the facility were safe. Interestingly, the auction of popular Hollywood memorabilia can fetch thousands of dollars.
Over the years, Iron Man's costume has seen an upgrade in Marvel movies.
