What's the story
Renowned Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee will soon star in an unnamed Hindi social drama directed by American filmmaker Ben Rekhi. The movie is produced by the powerhouse, Rana Daggubati.
This will be reportedly Bajpayee's first Indo-American project, adding yet another dimension to his illustrious career.
Incidentally, Bajpayee was earlier scheduled to work with actor Frank Langella on an international film after Pinjar's release in 2003, but that never happened.

The plot and production details of the social drama
Rekhi, who has worked on The Ashram (2018) and Watch List (2019), has written the story of this yet-untitled drama.
The plot follows a common man, played by Bajpayee, whose family hardships lead him to fight for a cause.
"Through the family's journey, the story highlights a social issue," an insider revealed to Mid-Day.
The film was shot in Mumbai last year and includes some city theater actors in its cast.
Production details
Daggubati's production house spearheads the project
Daggubati's production house, Spirit Media, is leading this project. The actor-producer and Bajpayee crossed paths via their Discovery+ shows in the last few years. According to reports, this is a collaboration between Baahubali star's production and a Los Angeles-based banner.
"Ben has written the story. Manoj plays a common man whose family lands in trouble, leading him to fight for a cause," the insider revealed.
The makers are keeping the project under wraps until they finalize the release plans.
