'Indian Idol 11': Neha Kakkar forcibly kissed by contestant
Popular singer Neha Kakkar, who features as one of the judges on singing reality show Indian Idol's ongoing eleventh season, was forcibly kissed by one of the participants during an episode of the show. Neha, who judges the famed show along with music composer Anu Malik and composer-singer Vishal Dadlani, was left shocked because of the contestant's misbehavior. Here's what went down.
The snippet was revealed by Sony in a promotional video
During an audition round of the show, a contestant, dressed up in traditional Rajasthani attire, greeted Neha, and asked her if she remembered him. Neha seemed to have recognized the 'fan', who then offered her a handful of gifts. Subsequently, Neha proceeded to give him a hug, when he suddenly planted a kiss on her cheek. This left Neha and fellow judges baffled.

Naturally, fans were unhappy with the "uncalled for" act
Naturally, Neha's fans and others on social media took offense on the contestant's act. In the comments section of the promotional video, one particular user wrote, "Kissing anyone without their prior consent is sexual assault." Another user opined "what happened was totally uncalled for." "Next time Neha have to be very careful went on stage otherwise anything can happen with her (sic)," said another.
Interestingly, Neha was once a contestant on 'Indian Idol'
