Things I've learnt: Janhvi Kapoor pens emotional note amid lockdown
Janhvi Kapoor, who, like all of us, is under self-isolation amid the ongoing lockdown, penned a lengthy emotional note on Instagram. The 23-year-old actor, who has admittedly been self-isolating for more than a week now, shed light on the things she learned during this phase of solitude. She expressed gratitude for her privileges, and opened up about her love for her family. Here's more.
Janhvi shared the note on Instagram on Monday
The note was shared by Janhvi on her Instagram account on Monday. The actor said she realized her privileges, adding that she has been "selfish and irresponsible." When I wake up, I see my father smiling: Janhvi
"When I wake up now and go across the hall and see him (Boney) alone on the sofa smiling because he has us to himself the whole day, I can picture him sitting in same place waiting alone for us to come home," Janhvi wrote.
'I can still smell my mother in her dressing room'
Writing about her mother, late legendary actor Sridevi, Janhvi wrote, "I can still smell my mother in her dressing room." Sridevi passed away two years ago. Janhvi further added, "I've learnt that I'm a better painter in my head than in real life. I've learnt that Khushi (Kapoor) is definitely the cooler sister. I've learnt that I have the funniest friends in the world."
I've learned that I love movies, Janhvi summed
Janhvi, who made her debut with Karan Johar's film Dhadak in 2018, summed the note by saying that she has learned how much she loves movies. "I've learnt that I love movies.
