Arijit is singing for Amitabh Bachchan for the first time
Arijit Singh can tick off another item on his bucket list. In a dream come true, the 'Tum Hi Ho' singer will be lending his voice to Amitabh Bachchan for the first time. Big B's upcoming release '102 Not Out' will have a song in Arijit's voice titled 'Bachche Ki Jaan Loge Kya'. Besides Salman, Arjit has now sung for almost all Bollywood biggies.
Director Umesh Shukla is delighted to have Arijit on board
Talking about the song, director Umesh Shukla said, "Arijit is a youth icon and Mr. Bachchan's character in the film is young at heart. It's not a lip-sync song, so we decided to get Arijit to sing it."
'102 Not Out' is slated to release next month
Touted as an unusual father-son love story, '102 Not Out' brings Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor together after 26 years. Big B plays a 102-year-old father to 75-year-old Rishi in the film. Based on playwright Saumya Joshi's Gujarati play of the same name, '102 Not Out' will release on May 4.
