Ileana D'Cruz confirms marriage to Michael Dolan
Indian actor Ileana D'Cruz has confirmed her marriage to US-based Michael Dolan in a recent interview with India Today. The star's personal life has been under media scrutiny since April last year, ever since she announced her pregnancy. In August 2023, she welcomed her first child, a son named Koa Phoenix Dolan.
'Hard to say what I love about Dolan the most'
During the interview, D'Cruz was her reserved self, choosing to not share many personal details. However, she became emotional when discussing Dolan's unwavering support. "Married life is going beautifully. It's really hard to say what I love about (Dolan) the most. I'll have to really think because I feel like every time I come up with an answer, there's something else that, you know, trumps that the next day," she gushed.
D'Cruz drew parallels between her husband and 'DADP' dialogue
The Barfi! actor drew a parallel between her real-life husband and a line from her latest film Do Aur Do Pyaar, which was released last week. She mentioned that Dolan "shows up every day," much like a memorable dialogue from the movie. This film marked D'Cruz's return to the silver screen after a break and was directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta.
Wedding reports first emerged after Koa's birth
Following the pregnancy announcement, D'Cruz faced the curiosity of netizens regarding the father of the baby and her partner. While the actor remained steadfast and didn't succumb to online pressure, reports of her being married to Dolan started circulating soon after the birth of Koa. Along with disclosing her husband's name, a report also claimed that their wedding took place on May 14, i.e., four weeks after D'Cruz announced her pregnancy on Instagram.
