The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2024 is set to be a grand celebration of Indian cinema, honoring both Hindi and South film industries.
The three-day event will take place from Friday to Sunday on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
This marks the third time that the awards ceremony is being held in this location.

IIFA 2024: Event schedule and host lineup
The awards gala will commence with IIFA Utsavam, a celebration of the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada film industries.
The main IIFA Awards night is scheduled for Saturday. The festivities will conclude on Sunday with IIFA Rocks, an event dedicated to the music industry.
Telugu star Rana Daggubati and Teja Sajja will host IIFA Utsavam on Friday while Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, and Vicky Kaushal will emcee the main awards ceremony.

Star-studded performances to light up IIFA Awards 2024
The event will feature performances from renowned stars of both the South and Hindi film industries.
The lineup includes Rekha, who will deliver a finale performance lasting 22 minutes with 150 dancers.
Other performers include DSP, Prabhu Deva, Raashii Khanna, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, and Kriti Sanon.
"Rekha's will be a finale performance... she is working day and night on her act," said Andre Timmins, founder-director of IIFA Awards.
Grand finale
IIFA Rocks: Exclusive event to conclude IIFA 2024
The film extravaganza will conclude with an exclusive event, IIFA Rocks.
This event will be hosted by Siddhant Chaturvedi and Abhishek Banerjee and will feature performances by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Honey Singh, Shilpa Rao, Iulia Vantur, and Karan Aujla.
The doors to the September 28 event will open at 18:00pm and the show will kickstart at 19:30pm.

IIFA Awards 2024: Broadcast and streaming details
The IIFA Awards 2024 will be broadcast live on Sony TV, STAR Plus, and Colors TV. It will also be available for streaming on ZEE5.
The next edition of the IIFA Awards is already scheduled to take place in Jaipur from March 7 to 9, 2025.
