IIFA: Vidhu Vinod Chopra wins Best Director for '12th Fail'

The 24th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards dazzled Abu Dhabi on Saturday night (September 28).
Bollywood came together to celebrate the best of 2023, with Animal leading with a staggering 11 nods.
Among the notable winners is Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who clinched Best Director for 12th Fail.

The race for Best Director was particularly competitive, with the who's who of Bollywood nominated in the category.
Other hopeful directors included Sandeep Reddy Vanga for Animal, Karan Johar for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, and Atlee for Jawan.
Siddharth Anand for Pathaan and Amit Rai for OMG 2 were also eyeing the award.
