'IGL' row: Indore lawyer files complaint against Ranveer Allahbadia

Ranveer Allahbadia, a popular social media influencer, is in hot waters after his comments on comedian Samay Raina's YouTube reality show India's Got Latent went viral.
Adding to the controversy, a police complaint has been filed against him in Indore for his "obscene and vulgar" remarks. According to PTI, local lawyer Aman Malviya complained at the Tukoganj Police Station on Tuesday.
However, no FIR has been registered yet, confirmed Jitendra Singh Yadav, station in-charge.

Yadav told PTI, "No case has been registered. The complaint will be investigated and after that appropriate action will be taken."
Malviya, who was accompanied by other lawyers to the police station, accused Allahbadia and Raina of crossing "all limits of indecency by misusing the freedom of expression."
They demanded action against both the individuals and a ban on the show.

Allahbadia's controversial remarks sparked widespread backlash
Allahbadia, aka BeerBiceps, sparked a controversy with his crass remarks on parents and sex on Raina's show. The comments went viral on social media on Monday.
On the show, Allahbadia asked a contestant, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?"
The question caused a massive uproar and multiple police complaints against him.

Legal action sought against Allahbadia in other states
Apart from the Indore complaint, legal action has been sought against Allahbadia in other states as well.
Guwahati Police registered a case against him and four others over the same comments on Monday.
The accused are charged with "promoting obscenity" and engaging in sexually explicit and vulgar discussions on the show.
Others named in this case include Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, Apoorva Makhija (The Rebel Kid), and Raina himself.
