Hrithik Roshan booked in a case of cheating: Here's why
Hyderabad Police has slapped a cheating case against Hrithik Roshan under IPC Sections 406 and 420. According to media reports, the complaint was filed against him and fitness chain, Cult.Fit Healthcare, of whom he is the brand ambassador. Shashikanth, in his complaint, stated that he was offered unlimited workout sessions for a year at a discounted price, but it wasn't provided to him.
Fitness center failed to provide necessary workout sessions, alleges complainant
According to a Deccan Chronicle report, Shashikanth alleged that he was promised the sessions at the time of registration. For this, he had apparently paid a sum of Rs. 17,490 for a year to the gym. However, the fitness center, reportedly, failed to provide the sessions. He also mentioned in his complaint that these classes weren't held for three days at a stretch.
"Employees' bad behavior has brought about mental depression"
"A total of 1,800 people had enrolled with Cult.Fit and there was not sufficient carpet area to provide workout sessions. Besides, the bad behavior of the people at Kukatpally center has brought about mental depression," Shashikanth said in his complaint to KPHB police of Cyberabad. Furthermore, he alleged that he was banned from booking workout slots using the app after he raised the issue.
Shashikanth has alleged cheating, investigation is underway, confirms inspector
The report also stated that the police is investigating the matter now. "Shashikanth has complained that he was not given proper training as promised by the company in its advertisements. He has alleged cheating by the directors Mukesh Bansal, Ankit Nagori and Shanmugavel Mani Subbaiah and also its ambassador, actor Hrithik Roshan. Investigating is underway," KPHB inspector K. Laxmi Narayana told Deccan Chronicle.
Meanwhile, Hrithik is gearing up for 'Super 30' release
On the work front, Hrithik is gearing up for the release of Super 30 on July 12. The movie is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar, who initiated the educational program Super 30 to teach 30 underprivileged students and prepare them for the IIT exam. Helmed by Vikas Bahl, Super 30 also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Mrunal Thakur and Nandish Sandhu in lead.
