'Hum Aapke Hain Koun' completes 25yrs, to have special screening
Rajshri Productions' cult classic Hum Aapke Hain Koun, starring Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit as the leads, completed 25 years of its release today. And to mark this occasion, the makers are, apparently, planning to host a special screening of the movie this week. Reportedly, the screening will be held on August 9, and will bring together the entire cast of HAHK.

According to media reports, the special screening of Hum Aapke Hain Koun will be held in Liberty Cinema and will be attended by Salman, Madhuri, Anupam Kher, Mohnish Bahl among the other cast of the movie. The stars will also be sharing their respective experiences about the movie. "The entire team will relive the moments again," a source close to the development said.

Hum Aapke Hain Koun, India's favorite family film, was a flick that celebrated family values and wedding traditions. Back in the 1990s, HAHK opened to a thunderous box office opening, and emerged as the highest-grossing Bollywood film ever. It had won hearts for its depiction of pure emotions and relatable characters. Interestingly, HAHK was an adaptation of Rajshri Productions' 1982 release Nadiya Ke Paar.

Renuka Shahane, who essayed the role of Madhuri's elder sister, also expressed her gratitude towards the makers for giving her "once in a lifetime role in a once in a lifetime film." In her Instagram post, she thanked every member of HAHK team for their contribution to the movie. "I would like to thank the audience for making HAHK 25 not out," she added.
