Hrithik as Rama, Deepika as Sita for Nitesh Tiwari's next?
The success of Super 30 has translated into a lot of scripts for Hrithik Roshan. Just recently, he confirmed that Krrish 4 is in the making, and now the superstar has been offered Nitesh Tiwari's next. According to media reports, Hrithik will be seen playing the role of Lord Rama in Nitesh's Ramayana. Also, Deepika Padukone might be roped in for playing Sita.
This 'Ramayana' will be a trilingual, live-action trilogy
As per a Filmfare report, the movie will be live-action trilogy, which will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The report further stated that the movie will be shot in 3D, and made with a whopping budget of Rs. 500cr, to be bankrolled by Allu Aravind, Namit Malhotra and Madhu Mantena. Meanwhile, Hrithik is already calling it his most ambitious project to date.
It is a challenge for me, says Nitesh
Nitesh also expressed his excitement, and told TOI that he's looking forward to working on Ramayana. "It's a challenge for me as I've a sense of responsibility to bring the project in its true form of glory for the country," he asserted. He further mentioned that he will begin working on the movie after he's done with Chhichhore, which will release on August 30.
Deepika to play the role of Sita?
On the other hand, there are speculations that Deepika might be roped in to play Sita in the movie. Although an official confirmation about the cast is awaited, if the reports turn out to be true, this will be Hrithik's first collaboration with her.
For now, Deepika is gearing up for 'Chhapaak' and '83
As of now, Deepika is busy with Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak (based on acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal) and Kabir Khan's '83, which chronicles Indian cricket team's historic triumph in 1983 World Cup. Meanwhile, Hrithik is gearing up for the release of YRF's upcoming action movie War. Also starring Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor, War is slated to release on October 2.
