#ThugsOfHindostan: Despite disappointing reviews, Aamir Khan's movie to rule box-office
After creating a lot of buzz, 'Thugs Of Hindostan' has finally arrived at the silver screen. Starring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif in key roles, ToH has been one of the most talked about movies of 2018. Given the hype created by the trailer and songs, it is expected that ToH will rule box office on the first day.
'Thugs Of Hindostan' might cross Rs. 50 crore today
According to Bollywood trade analyst Girish Johar, 'Thugs Of Hindostan' could collect Rs. 50 crore on Thursday, given the hoopla around it. "In all the languages, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, ToH will earn Rs. 50 crore on first day," Girish told Indian Express. He further mentioned that if the content was good ToH might enter Rs. 100 crore club in the opening weekend itself.
However, Aamir's 'Thugs Of Hindostan' disappoints fans
Notably, despite the stellar cast, 'Thugs Of Hindostan' has failed to impress the audience. The movie opened to disappointing reviews and Aamir Khan fans are quite upset with it. Aamir, who has a stupendous box office record, is known for springing in surprises, but ToH turned out to be contrary to Mr. Perfectionist's image. Other cast members like Katrina and Fatima were equally disappointing.
Aamir admitted he is nervous about ToH
Interestingly, Aamir had stated that he is nervous about 'Thugs Of Hindostan' and wished people didn't get disappointed. "I am nervous about ToH for one reason that people are used to seeing my films with some message in it or some new concept. This is really a mainstream kind of a film. So I am hoping that people will not get disappointed," he quipped.
Will ToH make it big at the box office?
'Thugs Of Hindostan' might be able to get a big opening at the box office because of the buzz around it. But given the disappointment among the audience, we wonder if it will be able to make it big at the box office later.
