Sharvari, the rising star of Bollywood, is all set to make her mark as the lead in Nikkhil Advani's upcoming film, Vedaa. This will be her third release this year, following the success of Munjya and Maharaj. In a recent interview, the actor revealed how she underwent rigorous boxing training for five months for her role in Vedaa. The film also features action star John Abraham as Sharvari's mentor.

Sharvari revealed that she had to learn boxing from scratch for her role in Vedaa. "I had never taken up boxing before. To learn it from scratch was a challenge," she told Mid-Day. The actor also mentioned that she had to improve her physical fitness and endurance before starting boxing training. She specifically learned the speed bag technique for the film.
Abraham's mentorship on and off-screen
In Vedaa, Abraham plays the role of Sharvari's mentor who helps her fight against caste violence. Sharvari shared that Abraham also mentored her off-screen. "John is the biggest action star of our country. In real life, he taught me a lot about action sequences and their safety," she said. She added that it was enriching to learn some tricks of the trade from him.
Sharvari's admiration for director Advani
Sharvari expressed her admiration for director Advani, stating that being directed by him was motivating for someone like her who comes with no backing in the industry. "It has been enriching to learn some tricks of the trade from John. But we were all in service of our director's vision," she added.

Sharvari emphasized that her focus is on her craft more than box-office numbers, even as she comes off Munjya's success. "This film is important for my survival, growth, and my belief in my craft," she asserted. Vedaa tells a story of resilience and challenging the status quo against casteism.
