Her name has frequently been caught up in various controversies, sometimes unjustly. A few years ago, Choudhary reportedly attempted suicide by consuming poison, which brought her life into the limelight. Recently, she shared on social media that she would reveal "who I am," leading up to the release of the first teaser of her biopic.

'My life has had a lot of ups and downs'
In a previous interview, Choudhary described her life as a journey filled with challenges. "My life has had a lot of ups and downs. People have seen me only on stage - the Sapna she has shown in front of people. But my struggle, even gunshots at me...but that didn't stop me from being what I am today," she said. Choudhary added that she never feared danger and is a happy-go-lucky person.
'Don't want to revisit those days,' says Choudhary on biopic
When asked if she would like to play herself in the upcoming biopic, Choudhary told ETimes, "I don't want to play myself. I have come out from there...I don't want to revisit those days." Choudhary revealed that she felt a strong connection with the biopic when she met filmmakers Bhatt and Vinay Bhardwaj. She appreciated their understanding of her story and vision for the film.
