Honeypreet's mother sends defamation notice to Rakhi Sawant
In a rather bizarre move, Honeypreet Insan's mother has now sent a legal notice to actress Rakhi Sawant seeking an apology from Rakhi for defaming her daughter, reports a news agency. Honeypreet's mother, Asha Taneja has demanded an apology within 30 days. Otherwise, Rakhi will be liable to pay Rs. 5 crore for defaming Honeypreet. But, what did Rakhi say? Here are the details.
Here's what Rakhi had alleged about Honeypreet
Rakhi had made a statement that she was close to Gurmeet Ram Rahim; she further said that the closeness was not perceived well by his alleged girlfriend, Honeypreet. "I realised that Honeypreet was uncomfortable seeing my close proximity with Gurmeet and even feared that I may become her 'sautan' (lover's wife) by marrying him," Rakhi was quoted as saying.
Rakhi will also be seen in Ram Rahim's biopic
In another news, Rakhi is all gearing up for the release of Ram Rahim's biopic in which she essays Honeypreet Insan's character. However, the release date of the movie has not been finalized yet. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has been in jail since August 25 for raping two female disciples in 1999. Honeypreet too has been jailed for her involvement in Panchkula riots.
