'Heart of Stone': Alia Bhatt's Hollywood debut co-stars Gal Gadot
Bollywood star Alia Bhatt is currently gorging on the success of her recent release, Gangubai Kathiawadi. But now, the Raazi actor's skills are all set to go global, for Bhatt will be debuting in a Hollywood movie soon. In the venture titled Heart of Stone, the actor will be sharing the screen with big names like Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.
Netflix officially made announcement on Tuesday
The announcement came from the official social media handles of Netflix on Tuesday. The streaming service provider revealed that Bhatt has joined the cast of Heart of Stone, which is going to be a Netflix movie. Bhatt retweeted the announcement post with a heart and hands joining together emoticons, thereby confirming things from her end as well.

We're set to get an international spy thriller
So, what do we know about the project? Well, directed by Tom Harper, the Netflix Original is going to be an international spy thriller, reported Deadline. Skydance's David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger are producing, along with Mockingbird's Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn and Pilot Wave's Gadot and Jaron Varsano. The script has been penned by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder.

Last July, Bhatt had joined international talent agency
Reportedly, Skydance had brought the project out to the market in January 2021, where Netflix won the rights with the highest bid. Plot details are being kept safely guarded for now. Looking back, Bhatt had signed a contract with a renowned international talent agency, William Morris Endeavor (WME), last July. And, ever since her fans have been waiting for a call from the West.
Meanwhile, 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' is ruling box office
While we'll have to wait to see how Heart of Stone fares, Bhatt's most recent release has become a certified winner. According to movie business analyst Taran Adarsh, moviegoers in India were still preferring Gangubai Kathiawadi as their top choice. It has accumulated over Rs. 92cr till now. In our review, we said one simply cannot look away from Bhatt in this film.
