#KasautiiZindagiKay2: Hina's entry as Komolika has a connection with Akshara
What's the story
Ekta Kapoor took the social media by storm recently, when she introduced Hina Khan as the new Komolika in 'Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2'. Donning a silver-black lehenga and junk jewelry, Hina mesmerized us with her new avatar. Hina is thrilled to portray the quintessential vamp and revealed that her entry as Komolika had a connection with Akshara from 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'.

History repeated itself for Hina
Talking about her shooting experience, Hina said that it was a nostalgic trip for her as Komolika and Akshara had similar entrances. "It was like history repeating itself. I started playing Akshara with an introduction scene in which flowers are falling on her face and it was the exact same thing for Komolika," she added.

Being selected for Komolika came as a surprise for Hina
Hina also recalled how surprised she was when Ekta finalized her to play Komolika within minutes of the meeting. Ekta was quite excited to have Hina on board. Urvashi Dholakia played the original Komolika and was widely loved. Hina revealed that Ekta chose her for the negative role because the TV czarina wanted to show the actress' versatility to the world.

Ever since Hina has been introduced as the new Komolika, there have been comparisons between her and Urvashi. However, shedoesn't believe in comparisons and said each actor has a style. "Urvashi and I are two different actors. She did a fabulous job and so did Shweta Tiwari, Cezanne Khan, and Ronit Roy. Each one of us has our own style," she asserted.
