It's Tiger Shroff-led 'Heropanti 2' vs. 'Runway 34' this Eid
What's the story
After several delays due to the pandemic, Tiger Shroff starrer Heropanti 2 now finally has a release date. The film will be hitting cinema halls on April 29, clashing with Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan's Runway 34. The actor took to social media to unveil the movie's new poster and release date. Notably, it is a sequel to Shroff's debut flick Heropanti (2014).

Heropanti 2's new poster has Shroff and leading lady Tara Sutaria sharing sizzling chemistry. While Shroff looked rugged yet suave sitting on the hood of a car, Sutaria is seen posing in style beside him. "Promise you guys Double the action! Double the entertainment! Coming to you this Eid," Shroff posted on social media.

Film marks second collaboration between Shroff, Sutaria
Notably, the upcoming Ahmed Khan-directorial marks the second collaboration between Shroff and Sutaria after Student of the Year 2. It also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Moreover, this project is Shroff's second project with Khan after Baaghi 3. It also reunites Shroff with producer Sajid Nadiadwala. AR Rahman has composed the music, and recently a song was filmed on a large scale at a Mumbai-based studio.

Khan is also choreographing songs in the film
Khan further said he is also choreographing the film's songs. "We have five beautiful songs...composed by AR Rahman, written by lyricist Mehboob bhai, and I am choreographing them. We have already shot three of them, the rest two will be filmed in Mumbai," he said. He added the movie will also feature a Qawwali by Rahman on the lines of Kun Faya Kun (Rockstar).

Meanwhile, Heropanti 2's box office competitor Runway 34 is directed by Devgn. It marks his third directorial after U Me Aur Hum and Shivaay. Apart from Devgn and Bachchan, the film based on true events also features Rakul Preet Singh. Devgn and Singh will essay the role of pilots in the movie. Popular YouTuber Ajey Nagar aka CarryMinati is also part of the cast.
