Is this the reason why Salman Khan left Bhansali's 'Inshallah'?
When Salman Khan announced last month about the indefinite postponement of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah, it did break millions of hearts. He didn't however reveal the reason behind the movie getting shelved, though reports had suggested that he walked out following a major disagreement with Bhansali. And now recent reports seem to suggest that it was Salman's no-kissing policy that made him quit Inshallah.
'Inshallah' script demanded multiple kissing scenes between Salman and Alia
As per a report published in Bollywood Life, the script of Inshallah demanded several lip-locking scenes between Salman and lead actress Alia Bhatt. However, given Salman's public image, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor wasn't comfortable in forgoing his no-kissing policy. And owing to this, he had asked Bhansali to make the relevant changes in the script, but things didn't work out between them.
Despite their differences, Bhansali and Salman "are still friends"
Due to this situation, Salman stepped out of the project, and Inshallah was shelved by the director. Meanwhile, despite the disagreement, the actor-director duo continues to be friends. "Bhansali respects and loves his actors and suggestions are welcome but not if they aim to alter the narrative. Hence, he has taken the decision to shelve Inshallah. However, they are still friends," a source stated.
In this milieu, Alia lost the maximum. Here's how
Needless to say, the shelving of Inshallah came as a major disappointment for Salman's fans, as it would have marked his collaboration with Bhansali after two decades. Not just them, even Alia was quite upset with this development. After all, Alia had turned down the opportunity to work with Bollywood's Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan, because she had booked her dates for Bhansali's Inshallah.
Bhansali has now approached Hrithik Roshan for 'Inshallah'?
While there hasn't been any official update about the movie for a while now, there are reports that Bhansali is still in a mood to make Inshallah. In fact, after Salman's exit, it is reported that the ace filmmaker has approached Hrithik Roshan for the movie opposite Alia. However, the Super 30 actor is yet to give his nod to this Bhansali directorial.
