Actress Hina Khan who recently won hearts as Komolika in Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 has left the show, claimed reports. For the highly-anticipated soap, Hina shed her perfect bahu avatar and became the vamp everyone dreaded. And the viewers just loved her. However, Hina had to leave the show as she is venturing into Bollywood. Here's what we know so far.
For Komolika, Hina pushed boundaries, went into an uncharted territory
Hina got her share of fame with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai where she played the role of a sanskari bahu Akshara. She was later seen in Bigg Boss 11 and became the first runner-up. Hina made her small screen comeback with KZK2 after a long hiatus. Interestingly, it was the first time she played a grey character. Surprisingly, everyone loved her new avatar.
Onto better things: Hina leaves 'KZK2' for Bollywood
There were reports that Hina wasn't happy with her track in the show and decided to quit KZK2. However, she rubbished the reports and clarified that she left the show because of her Bollywood debut. "It's true that I will not be seen on the show post-March. But, the only reason is my prior commitment to films," Hina told Spotboye.

Hina further mentioned that the production house didn't want her to leave the show. "The production wanted me to stay, it's me who wants to go and the reason is only films. They understood and have given me a break," she mentioned. On being quizzed about her return to the show, Hina left everyone speculating and replied, "You never know I might come back."

Hina will be stepping into Bollywood with Hussain Khan's project. The untitled movie is set in Kashmir of the 1990s. Reportedly, Hina will play the role of a responsible and independent girl. Veteran actress Farida Jalal will play the role of Hina's grandmother.
