The 2019 Golden Globe Awards has kicked off at The Beverly Hilton, in Beverly Hills, California and is being hosted by Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg. This year's competition has been tough and despite a few deserving winners, the award ceremony has seen a host of surprises across different categories. Here is a list of all the winners in the 76th Golden Globe Awards.

The Americans won Best Television Series for Drama. Patricia Arquette won best actress in a Limited Series or TV movie, for her role in Escape at Dannemora. Ben Wishlaw won for best supporting actor in a television series for his role in A Very English Scandal. Richard Madden won best actor in TV drama for Bodyguard. Michael Douglas won the same for musical or comedy for The Kominsky Method.
Award named after TV icon
Carol Burnett got an award named after her and has become a major part of Golden Globe history for being a TV icon. The award will be given to the deserving for contributions to television on or off screen.

Mahershala Ali won best-supporting actor in movies for Green Book. Sandra Oh won best actress in Tv drama for Killing Eve. Regina King for best-supporting actress in movies for If Beale Street Could Talk. Spider-Man Into the Spiderverse won best-animated film. Justin Hurwitz won for best original movie score in First Man. Shallow from A Star is Born won best original movie song.

Green Book is kicking up a storm, also won best screenplay award. Patricia Clarkson won best supporting actress in TV shows for Sharp Objects and thanked the industry for demanding everything from her except sex. Christian Bale won best actor in musical or comedy movies for playing Dick Cheney in Vice. He thanked 'satan' for inspiration. Alfonso Cuaron's Roma won best foreign film.

Darren Criss won the best actor in limited series for The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story. This is clearly Roma's year as director Alfonso Cuaron also takes home the award for the best film director. Rachel Brosnahan won the best actress in musical or comedy television series. The Kominsky Method, however, won the best TV series in musical or comedy.

The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story won best TV limited series. Olivia Colman won the best actress in musical or comedy movie. Green Book won the best film in musical or comedy category. Veteran actress Glenn Close won the best actress award in a drama movie for The Wife. Rami Malek won the best actor in a drama movie for Bohemian Rhapsody.
'Bohemian Rhapsody' is champion of the world at Golden Globes
Bohemian Rhapsody won the award for best drama movie, beating out clear favorites A Star is Born. The biopic on legendary musician and frontrunner of the Queen band, Freddie Mercury, was chosen as the best film. Malek must be over the moon since his character and his movie were both recognized as the best in their respective categories. This wraps up Golden Globes 2019.
