Is Jennifer Lawrence now a mother? The Oscar-winning star, who had confirmed her pregnancy last year in September, has reportedly welcomed her first child with her husband, art gallery owner Cooke Maroney, in Los Angeles. The couple has not officially revealed anything about this, so we do not yet know the name, birth date, and gender of the newborn. Nonetheless, congratulations to the couple!
Lawrence's baby bump debuted last December
According toTMZ, Lawrence had a baby shower at the end of last month, so reports of her giving birth may be true. To recall, after announcing her pregnancy, Lawrence had graced the red carpet at the December premiere of Don't Look Up donning a sheer gown, alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. That time, her pretty large baby bump was on full display.
Lawrence's motherly instincts had kicked in by December
Lawrence, who has always been secretive about her personal life, extended the same to her pregnancy, too. In an interview with Vanity Fair last December, the actor emphasized that even before giving birth, she feels fiercely protective about her unborn. "Every instinct in my body wants to protect their (her kid's) privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as I can."
