The film was initially scheduled to release on March 28; however, its premiere was postponed due to unfinished post-production work.

'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' to feature star-studded ensemble cast
Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is a period-action drama set in the 17th century. The film follows the journey of a legendary outlaw fighting against oppression.
The ensemble cast features Nidhhi Agerwal, Anupam Kher, Jisshu Sengupta, Nargis Fakhri, and Nora Fatehi.
A Dayakar Rao produces the film, which is presented by veteran AM Rathnam under Mega Surya Productions.

'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' to release in 2 parts
The movie, intended as a standalone film, would be split into two parts. In 2024, the makers announced Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1—Sword vs Spirit.
Oscar-winner M. M. Keeravani is composing music, while Gnana Shekar V. S. handles cinematography. VFX is supervised by Ben Lock.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu explores India's socio-economic landscape during the Mughal era, under the reign of Aurangzeb.
The film also explores how India's riches were exploited by foreign powers like the Dutch and Portuguese.
