Hrithik Roshan turns 44: A superstar in and out
Hailed as a Greek god, Hrithik Roshan has time and again proved his mettle as an actor. From being a boy with a speech disorder, today he is Bollywood's trusted superstar. But what makes him stand out from the rest is his demeanour: be it films or controversies, Hrithik has always handled everything in a dignified manner. Here's more about him.
Being the perfect family man even after divorce
As he turned 44, his ex-wife Suzzane Khan posted a heartfelt wish for his birthday, calling him her "forever sunshine". Even after Suzzane and Hrithik got divorced after 17 years together, they have remained the best of friends and perfect parents to their kids. She openly supported Hrithik during the Kangana fiasco and even voiced her opinion against her.
Hrithik doesn't believe in washing the dirty linen in public
Not so long back, when Kangana was firing shots at Hrithik one after the other, he made sure he maintained a certain level of decorum and responded to her with dignity. He didn't indulge in press conferences to clarify his side of the story. It was only after a lot of mud-slinging that he decided to appear on Arnab's show and talk about it.
For picking up socially-relevant roles, addressing the differently-abled
Hrithik is now gearing up for 'Super 30', a movie about mathematician Anand Kumar who prepares economically-backward students for IITs and helps them crack the exam. He has earlier played roles of differently-abled in 'Koi Mil Gaya' and 'Guzaarish', where he highlighted their plight and proved there's nothing they can't do. More power to you, Hrithik! Keep winning over people like this.
