Gurmeet Choudhary buys ₹16 crore home in Mumbai
What's the story
Actor Gurmeet Choudhary, famous for his role in the TV series Ramayan (2008), has bought himself a swanky new home in Mumbai's luxurious Andheri West area for a whopping ₹16 crore.
The Windsor Grander complex, where the property is located, boasts modern amenities, spacious interiors, and amazing balcony views of the Mumbai skyline.
Choudhary recently gave a sneak peek of the new pad on Instagram, along with a heartfelt note reflecting on his journey.
Journey
'This new house is not just a house...'
Choudhary fondly recalled how he came to Mumbai with nothing but a suitcase and now has a plush house.
He wrote, "Ek waqt tha jab humare paas sirf ek suitcase tha—usme hum dono ke kapde the, sapne the, aur ek dusre ka sahaara. (There was a time when we had only one suitcase—which had our clothes, our dreams and our support for each other)..."
Gratitude
Choudhary expressed gratitude for his new home
Choudhary thanked his wife, actor Debina Bonnerjee, for her support.
He also claimed that having the right partner by your side can help you overcome any challenge and achieve great heights in life.
The Khamoshiyan actor expressed that their new home is not just a building but a reflection of their love, dedication, and the heartfelt blessings of their well-wishers, making it the most beautiful gift they could have received.
Interior work
Choudhary's house is still undergoing finishing touches
While the posh property is already fitted with top-notch facilities, it still awaits finishing touches. The interior work is currently underway, adding to the anticipation of its completion.
On the work front, he was recently seen in the web series Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein 2.
His upcoming projects include the web series Commander Karan Saxena and a period drama known as Maharana. Reports claim that he is going to play the role of legendary Rajput warrior-king Maharana Pratap in that.
