The news was revealed through a trailer featuring the main cast, including Kapil Sharma, Archana Puran Singh, and Sunil Grover. While fans are excited about the new season, some are disappointed that Sumona Chakravarti and Chandu will not be returning.

The clip, shared on Netflix's official X/Twitter account, features the entire cast, including Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur. In the promo, Sharma starts by expressing frustration over the lack of creativity in announcing the premiere to the audience. In response, the entire cast steps in with a playful twist, declaring, "Fun se aapke Shanivaar ko Funnyvaar banane hum aa rahe hain 21st September se." This playful message hints at transforming your Saturdays into something amusing starting September 21.

What to expect from the new season
Filming for the new season commenced on August 13, with the initial episodes reportedly set to feature Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina promoting their upcoming film, Jigra, which will hit theaters on October 11. In addition, Jr NTR was recently seen on the show's sets, suggesting his appearance to promote his highly anticipated film, Devara: Part 1, scheduled for release on September 27.
