Who won what at Grammy Awards 2021? Here's the list
Hosted by comedian Trevor Noah, the 63rd Grammy Awards was one for the record books with female artists winning across categories and creating history. There were incredible live performances by BTS, Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, Cardi B, Post Malone, Dua Lipa, Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby, Bad Bunny, Harry Styles, and others. Billie Eilish won 'Record of the Year' award
The biggest award of the night went to singer-songwriter Billie Eilish. She won the 'Record of the Year' award for her song Everything I Wanted. Taylor Swift won 'Album of the Year' award for Folklore. She is the first female artist to win the honor three times. Harry Styles won 'Best Pop Solo Performance' award for Watermelon Sugar. This was his first-ever Grammys win.
Beyoncé and daughter Blue Ivy scripted Grammys history
Beyoncé scripted history at the Grammys this year by winning her 28th Grammy Award. She is now the most awarded female artist in Grammys history after she won the 'Best R&B Performance' award for Black Parade. Her nine-year-old daughter Blue Ivy won a Grammy too for Brown Skin Girl. She is now the second-youngest person to win the award.
Megan Thee Stallion was honored as well
Megan Thee Stallion was named the 'Best New Artist.' She was also honored for Savage. 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance' award went to Rain on Me by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande. Nas won the 'Best Rap Album' award for King's Disease. I Can't Breathe, released after the killing of George Floyd, by H.E.R. won the 'Song of the Year' award.
John Legend won the Best R&B Album award
Bigger Love by John Legend won the 'Best R&B Album' award. The New Abnormal by The Strokes was named 'Best Rock Album.' 'Best Country Duo/Group Performance' award went to Dan-Shay and Justin Bieber for 10,000 Hours. Miranda Lambert won 'Best Country Album' award for Wildcard. Comedian Tiffany Haddish won the 'Best Comedy Album' award for Black Mitzvah. 'Best Country Song' award went to Crowded Table by The Highwomen.
