Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda, who accidentally shot himself in the leg on Tuesday morning, has shared an audio message from his hospital bed in Mumbai. In the message, he expressed gratitude toward his fans, family, and God for their support during this challenging time. He also thanked a Dr. Agarwal for his medical care. The actor is currently stable and recovering at CritiCare Hospital in Juhu.

The incident happened around 4:45am at Govinda's Juhu home. He was getting ready to head to Kolkata when his licensed revolver slipped from his hand and went off, hitting him in the leg. Govinda's manager, Shashi Sinha, confirmed that "the doctor has removed the bullet, and his condition is stable." Even though he was alone when it happened, Govinda managed to inform his wife Sunita and Sinha about what had happened before the Mumbai Police rushed him to CritiCare Hospital.
Maharashtra CM inquired about Govinda's health
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has shown concern for Govinda's well-being. The CMO stated, "Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde had a telephonic conversation with actor Govind and inquired about his health and wished him a speedy recovery." The CM also instructed hospital authorities to ensure the best care for the actor. Meanwhile, Mumbai Police have initiated an investigation into the incident but no complaints have been lodged so far.
Family support and public response to Govinda's incident
Actor Kashmera Shah, who is married to Govinda's nephew Krushna Abhishek, was spotted at the hospital but chose not to comment on the incident. The actor's daughter, Tina, is currently with him at the hospital. His wife, who was in Kolkata when the accident happened, has returned to Mumbai after hearing about her husband's injury.
