Many people will die in 'GOT' finale, says Sansa Stark
Sophie Turner aka Sansa Stark has promised "more deaths and emotional torture" in the eighth and the final season of 'Game Of Thrones'. In an interview with Gold Derby, Sophie spoke at length about her own character and spilled the beans on the finale of the HBO's highest rated fantasy drama. Here's more.
"Everyone is coming together to fight the impending doom"
The unexpected deaths of central characters have been a major highlight of all previous 'GOT' seasons. Talking about the final season, Turner said that there's definitely a coming together of people. "It's going to be bloodier and more death and more emotionally torturous than all the years before," she said.
She feels fans didn't really understand her character
Over the years, Turner's character grew significantly on the show but she feels that people did not get that. "I always saw something of a warrior in Sansa that I don't think other people really saw," she told the interviewer. Further, Turner said that she is really happy where this storyline for Sansa has ended.
Sansa has had a remarkable journey on the show
Once a little girl whose only dream was to get hitched to a prince, Sansa underwent a major transformation over the course of the show. She became a fierce woman who can get the best out of the people around her.
