'Good Newwz' trailer is a quirky and entertaining joyride
The term "Good news", as it traveled from the West, found entirely different connotations in our country, particularly in Punjabi households, where it is often used to refer to a woman's potential/impending pregnancy. And now, the term has earned the title of an upcoming Dharma Productions movie, directed by debutant Raj Mehta. The trailer of the film was launched today, and we are impressed!
A stellar cast? Check!
What makes Good Newwz a strong box-office contender already, is its stellar collection of lead actors. The trailer opens with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Akshay Kumar, and then introduces us to Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh. The 3-minute-long clip also shows glimpses of veteran Adil Hussain and the talented Tisca Chopra. Notably, the film would mark Diljit's first movie under the Dharma banner.
'Good Newwz' to bring back super-hit onscreen couple Kareena-Akshay
Interestingly, Good Newwz will mark the return of super-hit onscreen pair of Kareena and Akshay. The two have previously worked together in films like Kambakkht Ishq (2009), Tashan (2008), Bewafaa (2005), Aitraaz (2004), Talaash (2003), and Ajnabee (2001).
A mix-up at the hospital brings trouble for two couples
The plot of the movie revolves around two couples, both of whom share the same surname and are trying to conceive, and eventually opt for In vitro fertilization (IVF). However, trouble and confusion ensues as a mix-up leads to replacing of the sperms of the two pairs. What follows next promises to be a joyride filled with lots of drama, laughter, and emotions.

The movie is set to hit the theaters on December 27, just one week after the release of Salman Khan-starrer Dabangg 3. Notably, Good Newwz shall be Akshay's fourth film this year, after Kesari, Mission Mangal, and the recently-released comedy Housefull 4.
