On its 22nd day, it added approximately ₹1 crore, bringing the total to ₹247.7 crore, according to early estimates from Sacnilk. The film saw a Tamil occupancy of 16.2% on Thursday with morning shows at 13.51%, afternoon at 16.99%, evening at 16.6%, and night shows at 17.71%.

GOAT features Vijay in dual roles, supported by an ensemble cast that includes Prabhu Deva, Prashanth Thyagarajan, Sneha Prasanna, and Mohan. The film also includes special appearances from cricketer MS Dhoni and South superstars Trisha Krishnan and Sivakarthikeyan. The plot revolves around Gandhi (Vijay), a spy agent in the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad (SATS) who is haunted by a past mission after retirement.
'GOAT' received mixed reviews, set for Netflix release
Released worldwide on September 5, 2024, in both standard and IMAX formats, GOAT received mixed reviews from critics.
