Vijay's 'GOAT' is still going strong; nears ₹250cr mark
Thalapathy Vijay's latest Tamil movie, The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT), has been making waves at the box office. The science fiction action thriller crossed the ₹100 crore mark within three days of its release and reached the ₹200 crore milestone in just 11 days. As of Day 18 (third Sunday), GOAT has raked in a total of ₹243.5 crore, according to Sacnilk.
'GOAT' records impressive occupancy rates
On its third Sunday, GOAT earned ₹5.25 crore at the box office. The film recorded an impressive 48.51% Tamil occupancy and 21.39% Hindi occupancy. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, GOAT was released on September 5, 2024. The film's strong performance at the box office has led to it being declared a blockbuster hit in a short span of time.
'GOAT' to stream on Netflix from October 3
Netflix has acquired the digital rights for GOAT. The film is reportedly set to be available for streaming on the platform from October 3, 2024. This move is expected to further boost the film's popularity and reach, allowing it to be accessible to a global audience.

GOAT tells the story of a spy agent working for the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad (SATS). After years of service, he is assigned a critical mission that intersects with his past.
