'GOAT' has lost momentum; collects ₹232cr by Day 15
Thalapathy Vijay's latest Tamil film, The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT), has witnessed a downward trend in its box office collection. The science fiction action thriller, directed by Venkat Prabhu, was released on September 5, 2024. Despite the dip, the film had a strong opening week, crossing the ₹100 crore mark in just three days and surpassing ₹200 crore within 11 days.
'GOAT' earns ₹231.95 crore; ₹2.5cr on 15th day
In the first 14 days of its release, GOAT collected an estimated ₹229.45 crore net across India. On Day 15, it added around ₹2.5 crore to its total, bringing the overall collection to approximately ₹231.95 crore. According to Sacnilk, the Tamil version of the film recorded an occupancy rate of 16.23% on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

GOAT, a science fiction action thriller, is centered around a spy agent named Gandhi who serves in the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad (SATS). The film follows his life post-retirement as he embarks on a challenging mission linked to his past. Vijay plays dual roles in the film. The cast also includes Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prashanth Thyagarajan, Sneha Prasanna, Prabhu Deva, and Mohan in key roles.
