Vijay's 'GOAT' almost enters the ₹200cr club!
Thalapathy Vijay's recent film, GOAT (The Greatest of All Time), saw a significant rise in box office collections on its 10th day. Sacnilk reveals that the movie garnered an estimated ₹13.1 crore on Saturday, September 14, indicating a nearly 93.59% increase from previous days. The majority of these earnings (₹12.4 crore), came from Tamil language screenings. Its total earnings now stand at ₹197.75 crore.
High occupancy for 'GOAT' in Tamil screenings
GOAT recorded impressive occupancy rates during its Tamil screenings on Saturday, September 14. The overall occupancy was reported at 56.74%, with the highest audience turnout observed during night shows at 65.89%. Morning, afternoon, and evening shows also had considerable occupancies of 42.34%, 58.38%, and 60.36% respectively, according to Sacnilk.
Vijay has a double role in 'GOAT'
GOAT, directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS Entertainment, is a sci-fi action thriller. The film features Vijay in a dual role as both father and son and is his penultimate film before he ventures into politics full-time. Other notable cast members include Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Ajmal Ameer, Sneha, and Meenakshii Chaudhary, among others.
