According to the tracking website Sacnilk, GOAT has earned ₹170 crore at the end of one week in India. On Wednesday, the film earned ₹8 crore, a significant drop from Tuesday's collection of ₹11 crore. The film's total seven-day collection now stands at ₹170.75 crore nett at the box office in India. Globally, GOAT has crossed the ₹300 crore mark.
'GOAT' surpasses Vijay's 2023 action thriller 'Varisu'
GOAT is the second film in Vijay's career to earn more than ₹300 crore worldwide. It has surpassed his 2023 action thriller Varisu, which earned ₹297.5 crore to get the spot. The film is performing well in Vijay's home state, Tamil Nadu where it has so far grossed approximately ₹120 crore in five days.
'GOAT' is an action entertainer with a star-studded cast
GOAT, an action entertainer directed by Prabhu, is the 25th production of AGS Entertainment. The film features a star-studded cast including Mohan, Ajmal Ameer, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Vaibhav, Yogi Babu, Premgi Amaren, Yugendran, and VTV Ganesh. Actors Trisha and Sivakarthikeyan also make cameo appearances in the film. The movie has been produced with a massive budget of around ₹380 crore.
