Creativeland Studios Entertainment has announced a new project, Shri Radha Ramanam, which will bring the story of Lord Krishna to international audiences. The film is a collaboration between India, the UK, and the US, with acclaimed author Amish Tripathi serving as the creative director, reported Variety. Tripathi is well-known for his mythological fiction works, including the Shiva Trilogy and Ram Chandra series.
'Shri Radha Ramanam' script developed after extensive research
Shri Radha Ramanam is penned by Prakash Kapadia and Raam Mori, who spent two years researching to ensure the script's accuracy across various scriptures and books. The film, which is described as a "magical tale," will be directed by mythology expert Hardik Gajjar, known for Siya Ke Ram. Ayananka Bose (Satyaprem Ki Katha) will serve as the cinematographer. The production team is led by Shobha Sant, CEO of Creativeland Studios Entertainment.
Film's VFX to be created by studios in three cities
The visual effects for Shri Radha Ramanam will be a joint effort between studios located in Vancouver, Los Angeles, and Mumbai. These studios are responsible for recreating the ancient cities of Vrindavan, Barsana, and Dwarka (Gujarat), which are central to Lord Krishna's story. Pre-production and VFX asset creation have already begun, with principal photography set to start in November. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release in February 2026.
Creativeland Studios Entertainment's global strategy takes a leap
Creativeland Studios Entertainment's London-based group company, Creators Inc, will utilize its expertise in content curation for the international market on Shri Radha Ramanam. Negotiations are already in progress with major exhibitors, potentially making the project one of the widest US releases for an Indian film. The cast is yet to be announced.
