In a true display of female power, we present five Marvel women superheroes who could take down Thanos.
Scarlet Witch: The power of chaos magic
Wanda Maximoff or Scarlet Witch is one of the most powerful mutants in the Marvel Universe. She gets her power from chaos magic. Apart from that, her reality-altering powers make her truly unstoppable in battles. For someone who wiped out mutants by just uttering the words, taking Thanos on and defeating him does not seem to be beyond the realm of possibility.
Jean Grey: The power of the Phoenix Force
Jean Grey alone is an omega level mutant capable of telepathy and telekinesis that could give Thanos serious competition. However, if Jean were to be the host of the Phoenix Force, a force which can destroy entire planets, Thanos might find the battle going in her favor. Jean and the Phoenix Force together could easily take down the Mad Titan using sheer power.
Nebula: The daughter steps up to the father
Nebula is daughter of Thanos and has been trained by the Mad Titan to be one of the deadliest assassins in Marvel. While she would probably not directly against Thanos, in the Infinity Gauntlet comic series, it is Nebula who takes the gauntlet off his hand. Since she turns everything back to normal, technically beating Thanos, she has earned a spot on this list.
Rogue: Taking away powers of Thanos with a single touch
Rogue is one of the most powerful mutants simply because of the nature of her powers. She can absorb powers and personalities, even taking the life force of others by holding them long enough. While she does not normally stand a chance against Thanos, all she needs to do is to touch him to gain all his powers and potentially beat him in battle.
Squirrel Girl: The one who actually beat Thanos in battle
Doreen or Squirrel Girl is one of the most laughable characters in the Marvel Universe. She is not someone you would expect to fight a serious villain like Thanos. However, she has gone up against other powerful villains like Doctor Doom and emerged victorious. Using super strength, agility, senses, she got the better of Thanos, who underestimated her, and actually beat him in battle.
