George Miller expresses interest in directing Chris Hemsworth's 'Thor 5'
In a recent interview with ComicBook, George Miller, the acclaimed director of the upcoming Hollywood entertainer Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, expressed his willingness to work with actor Chris Hemsworth on future projects. Miller stated, "I would work with Chris on anything. I really would. He's a wonderful actor. He's got the full range of all the skills." With Thor 5 currently without a director, this has led fans to speculate about a potential collaboration between the two.
Hemsworth's acting skills praised by Miller
While praising Hemsworth, Miller said, "I mean, you've got to be athletic, physically. But, you also gotta be athletic emotionally and intellectually to take on these very, ultimately fairly complex, any role really. So, I was very lucky with all my cast and particularly in the way that Anya [Taylor-Joy] and Chris matched each other." Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is the fifth movie in the Mad Max franchise and will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 15.
Hemsworth's appreciation for Miller's filmmaking approach
Earlier, during a panel at CCXP, Hemsworth expressed his admiration for Miller. He shared, "What was refreshing working with George is that every frame was thought out. Every single frame was necessary; it was servicing the whole." "It was part of a grander plan and a message, and so there was no waste." "All of us showed up and were willing to commit and throw ourselves on the line to service this journey and this film and this franchise."
