Adidas is bringing 'Game of Thrones' themed shoes
Game of Thrones is an essential part of pop culture and it cements its position through frequent collaborations with other companies, be it the Johnnie Walker White Walker whiskey, or the recent Budweiser Light crossover. Daenerys-themed shoes modeled after her Season 7 winter wear
Adidas is helping fans realize their love for the show, through the Game of Thrones themed sneakers. This latest line of collaboration includes six pairs, each modeled after the houses in the show. These include Targaryen, Lannister, and Stark. There is also White Walker and Night's Watch themed sneakers. Daenerys seems to have gotten her own style, modeled after her Season 7's winter wear.
New shoes part of Ultra Boost 4.0 series
The new designs will be part of Adidas' Ultra Boost 4.0 series. Usually, these shoes are priced at $180 or Rs. 12,807. However, considering it is a collaboration with Game of Thrones, which enjoys widespread popularity, the prices could surpass $200 or Rs. 14,000. Notably, some experts have stated Adidas should have based the themed shoes on the superior Ultra Boost 1.0 series.
When are the new shoes launching?
For now, no fixed date for the launch of these themed shoes seems to be known. However, show experts expect that the sneakers will hit the racks around the same time as Game of Thrones premieres its final season, that is, April 14.
