#ComicBytes: Five worst things 'God of Mischief' Loki has done
Loki Laufeyson is the God of Mischief and has been a constant thorn on Thor's side. Over the years in comics, Loki has done some truly terrible things. Considered to be one of the most powerful and cleverest villains in the Marvel Universe, Loki has put into works several complex schemes. Here we look at the five worst things Loki has done.
Loki took over the body of Lady Sif
Loki is a master at impersonating others, so it should not be too surprising to know that he has impersonated Lady Sif, a fierce Asgardian warrior and one-time love interest of Thor. However, what makes his action truly terrible is that he trapped Sif in the body of a woman who was on her deathbed, while Loki hatched this wicked but brilliant scheme.
Loki erased Kid Loki from all existence
In the comics when Loki was reborn as a new being, Kid Loki, his older self continued to survive as a raven called Ikol. The original God of Mischief intentionally manipulated Kid Loki into binding his life to an artifact that could be deadly for the universe. Loki then prevented this by inhabiting Kid Loki's body, wiping out all traces of the new being.
Loki has created some of Thor's greatest villains
As we mentioned, Loki's true purpose is to make life as difficult as possible for the God of Thunder. He has mostly done this through clever schemes and by manipulating other villains into doing his bidding. However, he sowed even more discord by creating some of Thor's greatest foes like Enchantress, Molto, and the Executioner. The Wrecking Crew also gained their powers from Loki.
Loki convinced the world that Thor was mad
In the Ultimates comic series, Loki showed just how smart his manipulation could be. In order to undermine his brother Thor, and get him out of the way, Loki warped reality. This led everyone to believe that Thor was no God, but just an imbalanced mutant with delusions of grandeur. Ultimately, Thor found himself locked up in a mental institution, thanks to Loki.
Loki turned Thor into a frog
Of all the various acts of malice that Loki has carried out against Thor, this has got to be the most humiliating. The God of Thunder who prides himself on being a warrior was turned to a mere amphibian by the God of Mischief. After turning Thor into a frog, Loki created a facsimile of him in order to rule Asgard, thus gaining control.
