Haryana's Manushi Chhillar crowned Femina Miss India World 2017
What's the story
Manushi Chhillar from Haryana was judged the 54th Femina Miss India World 2017, followed by first runner-up Sana Dua from J&K and second runner-up Priyanka Kumari from Bihar.
Chhillar was selected among 30 aspirants.
Manushi's parents are both doctors. She studied at Delhi's St. Thomas School and Sonepat's Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women.
Star studded finale
Pageant finale featured the who's who of Bollywood and fashion
The pageant's winner was judged by top Bollywood and fashion stars, including Arjun Rampal, Manish Malhotra, Illeana D' Cruz, Bipasha Basu, Vidyut Jamwal and Miss World 2016 Stehanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico.
The finale was hosted by Karan Johar and Ritesh Deshmukh.
It featured performances by Superstars Ranbir Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput, Alia Bhatt and Sonu Nigam.

Miss India pageant featured new format
The pageant featured a new and improvised format which toured 30 India states to find a representative from each state.
The contestants received month-long grooming by a mentor state zone-based mentors who were Neha Dhupia (North Zone), Parvathy Omanakuttan (South Zone), Waluscha de Sousa (West Zone) and Dipannita Sharma (East Zone).
