New 'Fast & Furious' spin-off movie reveals pictures and title
Fast & Furious is one of the biggest and most popular franchises of Hollywood. It has all the ingredients of success: fast cars, loud guns, daring stunts, and amazing action. Now the franchise is getting a spin-off movie on August 2, 2019, and it promises to pump up the action. The title and some pictures from the upcoming film were revealed recently. Here's more.
Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw kick up the action
The spin-off is titled Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw. The spin-off moves away from the usual outlaw crew led by Vin Diesel's Dom. Instead, it will explore Luke Hobbs played by Dwayne Johnson, and Deckard Shaw played by Jason Statham. Since both the characters were introduced as special agents in the franchise, the film will likely have more action and lesser cars.

You are going to f**king love this movie, says Johnson
Dwayne The Rock Johnson in a recent interview to Entertainment Weekly said, "You are going to f**king love this movie. There's going to be some big, 'Oh, holy sh*t, I did not see that coming' moments". Dwayne joined the F&F franchise in the fifth installment.
Introducing the 'most diabolical' villain in 'Fast & Furious' franchise
The Rock also posted a picture with Idris Elba, introducing him as 'the baddest, most diabolical, most dominant and coolest bad guy the FAST & FURIOUS franchise has ever seen'. "The man is my brother in arms. He also has a vicious Muay Thai elbow. And I had to open my big mouth. In the end, it's worth the pain," Johnson said about Elba.

Rift between The Rock and Vin Diesel about spin-off
The spin-off is being directed by David Leitch who made John Wick and Deadpool 2. However, the movie caused the ninth part of Fast & Furious to be pushed back by a year, causing a rift between The Rock and Vin Diesel. Tyrese Gibson, who plays Roman Pearce in the franchise, called out Johnson as being selfish and trying to derail the franchise.
So much action, so much fun, spin-off promises box-office run
Despite the controversy, the spin-off will be high octane action with cast members like Johnson and Statham's face-off against Elba. One can confidently say the movie will be a box-office success in international markets where Hollywood action is immensely famous.
