Farhan Akhtar to chase Shah Rukh Khan in 'Don 3'
In a thrilling update for all the fans looking forward to 'Don 3', Farhan Akhtar is all set to star alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the highly-awaited film. A media report has it that besides directing the third installment, Farhan will also be playing a cop in it. Interestingly, Farhan was earlier approached for Nawazuddin Siddiqui's role in SRK's 'Raees' but things didn't materialize.
Here's what the report said
"Farhan will direct as well as act in 'Don 3'. He will play a desi top cop to Shah Rukh Khan's Don. Since a portion of the film will be set in India, Farhan will be seen donning the policeman's uniform in the film," the report said.
The script of the film has been locked
Speculations have been rife about the making of 'Don 3' for a while now but nothing concrete ever came into being. However, the latest developments suggest that the project is about to finally set in motion. Farhan is said to have locked the script and is currently working on pre-production of the film.
SRK will begin 'Don 3' shoot next year
"SRK will be finishing 'Salute' and then get to 'Don 3' straight away. The film is likely to go on the floors next year. In all probability, 'Don 3' will be hitting the screens in 2020," adds the report.
