Rakhi Sawant's ex-husband Adil Khan accuses her of faking illness
Rakhi Sawant, recently hospitalized due to her allegedly failing health, is facing accusations from her ex-partner, Adil Khan Durrani. Khan Durrani has alleged that Sawant is feigning her medical condition to avoid jail time related to a case he filed against her. The case involves the alleged leak of their private, sexually explicit videos. Notably, a few images of Sawant in the hospital have been circulating online, leading him to voice his suspicions publicly.
'This is only a drama to escape going to jail'
Khan Durrani has publicly expressed his doubts about the authenticity of Sawant's medical condition. He told News18, "There are no medical reports. Doctors haven't said anything. We don't know which hospital she is in." "If it is a heart attack, I think patients generally need oxygen masks but she does not have that too. She is doing this only because she has to surrender to cops soon. This is only a drama to escape going to jail."
He also dismissed claims of Sawant's uterine tumor
Another ex-partner of Sawant's, Ritesh Raj Singh, claimed that doctors discovered a tumor in her uterus after she was admitted, and she'll undergo more tests to rule out cancer. However, Khan Durrani dismissed these claims stating, "There is nothing like this. When I was in a relationship with Rakhi, she underwent full body tests. She had no problem." To recall, Sawant and Khan Durrani were briefly married before she accused him of domestic violence. He's now married to Somi Khan.
Sawant is reportedly facing legal charges under these sections
Sawant has reportedly been charged under Sections 500, 504, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which pertain to defamation and complicity in criminal intent. Additionally, she faces charges under Section 67(A) of the Information and Technology Act (IT Act) for electronically disseminating sexually explicit material. These charges stem from Khan Durrani's allegations that Sawant leaked their private videos.

Meanwhile, Singh has constantly been by Sawant's side during her illness. He told the media, "Rakhi has made an image of herself because of which people always feel she is joking. But this is not a joke. People call her drama queen but this time it is serious. She is critical in hospital." Notably, Singh and Sawant were wildcard entrants on Bigg Boss 15.
