Emilia 'Khaleesi' Clarke bids goodbye to 'Game Of Thrones'
'The Khaleesi has cast her last challenge' as actress Emilia Clarke has finished shoot for her role of HBO's highest rated fantasy drama 'Game Of Thrones'. Throughout the series, Clarke played the role of dragon queen Daenerys Tagareyan, a character which became a hit among fans. On the last day of the shoot, an emotional Clarke outpoured her emotions on Instagram.

The character of Khaleesi has a massive emotional connect with the GOT fans. As the show went ahead, Khaleesi more formally pressed her claim to the Iron Throne. Talking about the series drawing to a close, Clarke previously said that it feels like preparing to leave home. "It's sad and scary all at the same time," she said.
The final season will be aired next year
The elongated wait for the concluding season of 'Game Of Thrones' will come to an end exactly a year from now. Based on George R R Martin's novels, the show also stars Sophie Turner, Kit Harington, Lena Headey, Maisie Williams, Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Iain Glen in pivotal roles.
A prequel is also in the works
In what came as a pleasant surprise, HBO last week announced a prequel to its widely popular series. The yet-to-be-titled project will be set thousands of years before the events of 'Game of Thrones'.
