'The Rock' is overwhelmed by fans' support over depression battle

Hollywood superstar Dwayne Johnson alias 'The Rock' has dubbed the response by fans over his struggles with mental health as 'moving' and 'overwhelming'.
While speaking to a publication, the 45-year-old actor said it's phenomenal that so many people have thanked him for opening up about his secret battle with depression.
Johnson had recently confessed having mental health issues.

Reacting to the fans' support, Johnson said, "It was really overwhelming and thousands of people responded. It all started when I helped a man struggling with depression. I told him, 'Hey, you're not alone, we all go through it'."
"One of the most important things that I know helped me multiple times in my battle was making sure that I was talking to people."

Johnson made an appeal to all the men
"We as men have a tendency to hold such things in which is not healthy, it's not good. Come forward and speak about it. Depression doesn't discriminate so if my past can help then I'm happy to share," he said.
