Salman Khan reveals why 'Dus Ka Dum 3' failed
Salman Khan's ongoing reality show 'Dus Ka Dum 3' is inching towards its grand finale. The third season of the show came after nine years and failed to match the popularity raked in by the first two seasons of DKD. The show, which started in June 2018, will be going off-air on September 9. Wondering why the show failed? Here's the answer.
Low TRPs led to show being pulled off
'Dus Ka Dum', which was once extremely popular amongst masses, failed to get a decent TRP for the third season. In its run of three months, makers tried several tactics to get the desired TRP numbers, but nothing worked for the show. As a result, the show is being pulled off this week and the grand finale will be graced by Shah Rukh Khan.
Salman gets candid about show's failure
So far, Salman had been keeping mum over dull response the show garnered. But lately, he got candid about the show's failure and said that it was due to the time slot that DKD couldn't get the desired response. "What happened was we slotted the show on Monday-Tuesday, but nobody knew that it was being telecast. Wahan thodasa maar kha gaye," he told DNA.
After DKD, Salman to host Bigg Boss 12
Indeed, the end of 'Dus Ka Dum 3' will come as a disappointment for Salman's fans, but the superstar will soon be coming up with his another popular show. He will be seen hosting the twelfth season of 'Bigg Boss' which will be premiered on September 16 on Colors. Notably, it is the sixth time he will be hosting the popular reality show.
