Dulquer Salmaan's 'Lucky Baskhar' postponed! New date set for October
The release date of Dulquer Salmaan's much-anticipated film Lucky Baskhar has been rescheduled to October 31. The movie, originally set to premiere on September 7, was postponed by the production company Sithara Entertainment due to pending shooting and quality issues. In its post, the makers said, "We need some more time to achieve the quality we aspire to. With a heavy heart, have decided to postpone the film."
'Lucky Baskhar' to avoid clash with Vijay's next
The revised release date of Lucky Baskhar also suggests that the makers are trying to avoid a box office clash with Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming film The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT), probably his last before entering politics. It is scheduled for release on September 5. The film is directed by Venky Alturi and is expected to be a financial thriller drama set in the 1980s.
